I would love to have a torquey, quiet full electric motor in my JK (without that price tag, of course). It would make rock crawling much nicer (listen to the tires, not the engine, no exhaust smell, etc.). Plus, the greenies would have even less to complain about. The only problem is the range; 220 miles.

Oh, anyone out there willing to give me $109k for the Tesla sports car?

Won't do you any good. All of the first year production of Tesla cars have been pre-sold.
