A good friend of mine has revealed themself as a JK hater. Among other things, she said that JKs are all bought not built and that real jeepers would never buy a lifted jeep. I don't agree. I think the biggest market for lifted jeeps would be to first time Jeep buyers but I think some jeeples would be interested in a tastefully modded Jeep. I was just very put off by the attitude of people who say that JK's are not real jeeps. Any thoughts on how detrimental lifting or modding jeep is to its resale?

Ignore her and mod your Jeep. Go out and have fun without her. Then post pics of a great Jeep and fun times on Facebook where she can see them just to spite her. Don't forget to post links to your YouTube videos on FB, too.

x2, I will be putting a snorkel on my JK. This is the absolute most useless mod for me to waste money in, but why not? It's my jeep and I think it looks cool.
