Jk help...
I took my jeep in last week, because one of the rear fender flares was hanging loose. The guy about crapped himself when he saw my lift. He tried to say my lift caused my fender flare to turn loose. He even went as far to say I kicked it. LOL The service rep said the clips were broken. I knew they weren't because I had looked at it the night before. I had to take the running board off to see up in there. Anyway I got rude with him when he asked me what I did for a living. I told him I produced donkey porn and could make him a star. He decided to swap with another service person. They were much nicer. Anyway I decided to let them look at my gas tank cause it spits gas. Jeep comes back out with fender flares hacked on inside. Didn't look that bad. Something about break lines. The kicker is my gas tank has to be completely replaced under warranty. They ordered the gas tank and showed my another sheet of paper with recommended services. My jeep has 42k miles and my throttle body needs to replaced. They say it is wore out. I know it isn't. Plus i need about $600 worth of 4wd work and a new air filter. All told it comes out to about a grand. Really this makes me think I shouldn't take the truck back to them for the gas tank install.
I got home and in about 45 minutes I fixed the flair. It was a pita, but it is back on. I guess I gotta start saving for some aftermarket fenders. I broke the bottom clip fixing it myself. I kinda wanna buy steel fenders, but my truck gonna look like a skate board with that much lift.
