Default JK less

Well I have been without a JK since May of '08. I only had my JK for 6 months and I can honestly say I miss it. I sold it to get a tow vehicle and every time I pass one on the road, I get angry with myself. I just thought I'de share the info since I haven't posted on here in ages and to warn anyone that was giving thought about selling there Jeep to STOP! I have to say out of all the vehicles I have owned I miss my JK the most. I'll be back one day but for now I just get to drool over all of yours!

You'll be back for sure. Look at it this way, when you do come back, hopefully some of the kinks will have been worked out of the Jk. Who knows, you may be driving a diesel Jk!

If I find myself feeling this way (just traded mine about 10 days ago), I'll just go out and buy a $3000 CJ or something

If one just has a JK for the family mini-van or DD and running stock or close to it. I can see trading when the time comes and getting some form of transportation that meets your requirements or another JK . But for me the jeep is in the same category as my motorcycles. They ain't goin' nowhere.

I understand very well. I sold my first JK in April 2009, and I passed 6 months without JK, (I bought a new one in Oct 2009)

It was a stupid decision

I'm glad he kept it--I plan to meet him this Sunday when I'm out that way. Besides just being able to shake his hand and spend a little time getting to know him and to compare Jeeps, I also want to listen to that exhaust set-up he has. I've watched the video, but I want to really hear something before I spend my own, hard-earned bucks (okay, not so hard-earned since I'm retired).

I put mine up for sale, but nobody wanted to pay what I was asking. Oh well, I'm not selling it for peanuts...not that desperate.

And why sell your JK for a tow vehicle? I bought a truck to haul my JK with, but if you don't have the JK what are you hauling?
