Did you order your JK or buy it off a lot?

 

I ordered mine I had trouble finding mine because I guess they weren't making for the dealerships around here with 4dr manual, Power. Right now the dealership down the road has like 8 4drs but I would still bet none or very few had power. But this dealer seems to be way over stocked now I would say they have 15- 20 JKs on the lot. some have been there for a couple months.

 

20 or 30 JK's to choose from in every color and configuration when i bought mine at ontario chrysler in so cal.

 

I tried to order locally. I always try to do my business local to keep money in my small town. I waited 5 months and told them I could not wait any longer. I drove to OKC an hour away and found my exact Jeep I wanted. Maybe fate, maybe luck, but probably just that there IS what you want out there and you just need to go looking. I don't think the dealers are willing to move them around much since they are selling so well.

I am too impatient to wait for something. I curse the day that layaway was invented. I drove 720 miles round trip to get my Jeep.

 

We have a lot of Jeep dealers in Florida so it was very easy to get what I wonted!

 

I picked up my Sahara from the lot, just happened to drive by and notice the dealer had one. It had everything I wanted including the 6 spd. The only thing it does not have is the MyGig and Side impact airbags. I also found out that they did not make the Sahara in my favorite color (Flame Red) and went with my close second Silver.

 

Found the exact Rubicon Unlimited I wanted in Black in Orange County. Called, negotiated and flew down with my son the next day. Drove it home in 8 hours. There was no way I was going to wait 8 months. The only other one I found near me was sold out from under me as I was negotiating with the salesman. Someone paid $6000.00 over MSRP for it.

 

I picked up my Sahara from the lot, checked dealer's lots weekly until I found it..

 

Bought mine off the lot in Houston. The dealer had three Rubicon's on Saturday. Had one left on Monday.

Went in, saw it, 20 minutes later it was coming home with me. Had everything I wanted except the soft top...
