Default JK Price

I want a JK, but have a budget of around $10,000. I'm willing to wait a while, so does anyone have an idea of when I might be able to find one near 10 grand? mid 2011 maybe...?

That seems low unless you find a very very high millage one.

Um, 10K is not much to work with. One for 10K will need a lot of work, you might try daveysjeeps. (They are in Ohio)

$7,000 is a large sum of coins.
Jeeps hold their resell value really well, so finding one that cheap would be pretty rare.

Save it in a high yield savings account (Money Market or whatever), make payments to yourself that would equal the amount for a monthly payment on a new JK, and put that money into the same account. When you have enough for a new or slightly new JK, buy it out right with cash!

You won't have a monthly payment, it can't get repo'd and you'll have a newer model than the rest of us!

The lowest I have seen is for ones that have salvage titles and that does not always mean they are in bad shape...I saw one that looked great the other day for $14K for a 4 door

10 grand will get you a nice yj or a ok tj. May want to keep saving a little while. The cheapest jk i have found was an 07 for 20000.
