When I was looking for my new JK I ran across a JK Renegade. As far I could tell all it was only a decal set, nothing else. It said Renegade on the hood and "Texas Offroad Edition" emblem on the side. It was an X 24s package. I can't find any info about it. Does anybody know anything about this package?

the decal packs on ebay are fairly large in size. compared to the stock rubicon text.

 

Strangely, I have also seen decals for the Texas Off-Road Edition 4x2 which seems like an oxymoron.

 

Not keen on that Renegade sticker. It looks like a sticker off of one of those early 90's YJ's that had the side body molding on it. Not a good look.

 

I thought the old (KJ) Liberty was taking over the Renegade claim. I've seen a lot of them cruising around the last few years. They just looked a little more rugged.

 

Wilbur will look rugged eventually...mater a fact my rims and tires should be on in 2 weeks I dont make near as much $ as u guys i have to take it slow and easy and i was going for a retro look, thats why i picked that font Not everyone likes it but its mine and i love it so

i think the Renegade decals look cool how much do they run and where can you get them

I bought mine in west Houston, and can confirm that's it's just stickers on the 23s (or 24s) package

 

Why would they do that? And why would that make someone want to buy that particular JK over another?

To each his own, doesn't matter to me....just don't understand why the dealership would do that?
