How can you tell if it stuck or not? Mine doesn't have much effect either way ![ROTFLMAO-2](https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/images/smilies/cheesy.gif)
I've owned an FJ unfortunately. The only legitimate area where it is better is the engine. The 4.0L is a solid engine.
How can a vehicle with near zero lateral and rear visibility come in within less than 10% of the grade of the JK ...![sad2](https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/images/smilies/grayno.gif)

That comparison is JUNK!
I could rant forever, but I think you all know why it's a junk comparison.
Oh, and you forgot to add breaks failing and power steering failure, (resulting in unintened veering off the road, possibly at high speed), to the gas pedal sticking.!!!
FJ = Fridge Junk, (yes it looks like a fridge), Fake Jeep etc.

This is how all FJ's should be built. Solid front AXLE.

Im not going to hate on the FJ just for the sake of it. Its a well built machine. I test drove one and as far as the blind spot I have no idea what anyone was talking about. With the mirrors adjusted properly I could see just as well as my 2DR JK..
It is certainly faster than the JK and has a better ride.
As far as the gas pedal, the FJ uses a different type of pedal for off roading than the other Toyotas, so it is not effected.
It also has better quality materials used on the inside and a rubber floor. (Why is Jeep still putting carpet in a Wrangler??)
Does it do better off road? Of course not, but it is still quite capable..

Like I said, not going to hate on it. Then again I don't have an axe to grind and I am not the type to associate my sense of self with a corporate brand.

If the JK had had a small V8 or better V6, there would not even be a comparison article.
A 4 cyl engine has enough power in 4 lo. That's not the point. I don't see why people like having crappy power on road and think it needs to be that way to be good off road.
Good point to the above post asking why no rubber floor in the Wrangler. I had a Ford SportTrac that had a ruber floor. Not sure why, but it makes sense in a veh with a removable top.
