i like the looks better on the TJ

but everything else goes to the JK

 

I like the MB the most!! , but that my be because it is my first Jeep. The next best looking Jeep has to be the TJ. If you could put a TJ nose on a YJ body, with MB, CJ5 door opening's I think that would be the best looking jeep ever. I like the JK, but I think they should have made the fnder flat top like on the TJ.

 

I voted CJ. Somebody says "jeep" and thats what pops into my head. I love my JK but I hate all the dang plastic all over it. Plus I still miss my CJ7. Even though it was a rust bucket...I loved it. However for a DD I choose my JK anytime! I hated the Turn signals in the fenders on the TJ's. Just messed up the whole thing for me. And I think their gauges looked crappy...like they were out of a damn dodge neon or something. YJ's weren't mentioned but at least they still had some STEEL in them! Geez. The ultimate Wrangler in my opinion is the JK though.

Oh pretty biased poll here...JK is winning on JK-FORUM. ... imagine that.

 

I voeted for the cj because I think the jk took more style from it than the tj did and that is what I always think of when i think of a jeep and not to mention that you could get a v8.

I enjoy my jk and can't wait to do more with it.

 

I miss my CJ but am enjoying my JK more. In a perfect world, I would have both!!

ChevyM14 love your Jeep, it looks awesome and I bet it's a blast to tool around and in that rig, I imagine it turns more heads than an 08 Corvette Z06

As for this post, I like the JK, liked the TJs I had, even the 06 TJ Rubicon was ok, but I had so many issues with the 06 that I don't regret ditching it for the 07 Rubi in the least, it was literally a piece of crap by comparision. I had less problems with my 00 and 97 TJs than the 06.

 

Well the first Jeep I rode in was a flame red 1993 YJ.

Then in high school I had several friends who had Wranglers. The first TJ I rode in was a maroon 1997. I always wanted a TJ. Loved the styling - still do.

I do love my JK - and while it is pretty comfortable to drive (steps above my 1997 Cherokee, in fact) I still do tend to like the styling of the TJ series better. A little more true to the original CJs. I particularly like the fender flares on the TJ better - the JKs are just too plasticy for me ... The Sahara flares look better. And the doors - the CJ, YJ, and TJ rounded top corners especially are more characteristic to a Jeep in the profile. Our squared-off JK doors look a bit Hummer-esque.

If anything ever happens to my JK (god forbid it should be totalled or something...) I will probably buy a used TJ, because I doubt I'd be able to afford another new vehicle any time soon.

But I do love my JK, and get compliments and looks no matter where I go. But I think that's Jeeps in general - those that don't have one, want one! (The Wrangler series, at least - I don't think one could say the same about the other models.)

 

Hmmm...JK 2DR or 4DR? You really just can't compare the looks of the JK Unlimited to those of a TJ, can you? I guess you "can", but my answer would be different for 4DR JK vs. TJ, and 2DR JK vs. TJ.




I absolutely love my (2DR) JK, but my next choice would be a TJ. But then again I really have a fondness for the CJ's.

Can I have one of each please?
