Default Which JKU?!?!

I need some serious help in deciding which JKU to go after...

This one is in Atlanta and the dealership is offering me this jeep at $26,225 plus+TTT

This dealership local to me is offering me a similarly priced jeep for $27,857.00+TTT. I can probably get $500 more off for a recent college grad discount. He's giving me 'till Friday on this price. 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport For Sale - 00284541 | Murfreesboro TN | Serving Nashville, Franklin, Gallatin

They've got slightly different equipment, the one in Atlanta has 3.73 axle ratio but not the MaxTow. The one here in Nashville has the MaxTow but the dealer isn't giving me as good a price. Is the MaxTow worth it? I live in Brentwood(just south of Nashville), so although a drive to Atlanta doesn't sound thrilling, it's certainly not out of the question. I'd love to hear your opinions.

TIA!!!

I think they're both overpriced seeing as you can now get a 2013

With those two options I'd go with the first one, too. It has UConnect which has been really nice to have in my 2012 JKU 6 speed.

You can always get a 2013 exactly how you want it 1% under invoice with Tread Lightly -- probably ~28-29K comparably equipped as those options...

Your local dealer is about $1,100 over invoice and the one in Georgia is just a bit under invoice. With 2013s out, your local dealer should be more agressive. I got my 2012 back in January and paid net of holdback which I think was about $1100 or so below invoice.

I don't know what the deal with Nashville dealers is, but none of them are really willing to lower prices a whole lot. I showed the Nashville the deal that Atlanta was running and he told me straight up that they can't compete with that...

Palmer Jeep normally has good prices but be very careful about his doc fees he adds.

I was just about to pull the trigger last year on a bare bones 11 JK until I researched some more.

Just my 2 cents

Call Warner Robins Jeep.

Call Friendship Jeep in Bristol TN - Anthony Boyd

Warner Robins gave me the best price on my 11 2DR Sport last year and even delivered to my house. Very awesome customer service.

Friendship was really awesome and had the best price on my 12 JKU the best APR and delivered to my work driving my 11 JK back and offered me the best price on my trade. No one could touch his price. And his customer service was the top notch anywhere.

What I noticed about these dealers vs Palmer was both Warner Robins and Friendship both acted like they cared. They kept me up to date and followed up twice a day before delivery.

Did you do all your shopping online? Or did you have an in-dealer experiences? I will say Palmer hasn't been the most responsive whenever I email or call(they usually take a while) but they by far have had the best prices I've found.

I wanted a specific JK. I went online to cars.com and put my specifics that I wanted and that's what it brought up a few dealerships.

My local dealers did not have the specific JK that I wanted one dealer 30 miles away had it but was not willing to negotiate on the price.

So that's when I came up with the idea that I was going to attempt to shop online.

I was extremely hesitant at first but I don't think I'll ever going to a dealer and buy a vehicle again.

You can find out a lot about a dealer and how much they're willing to work with you when you start negotiating with them online or over the phone.

We have bought Honda vehicles in the past and it's taken us one to two hours inside a dealership doing all the paperwork and sometimes this can turn into a real headache

Shopping online you can already have all your information everything set up with the dealership so when they either deliver or when you pick up literally just sign and you got your new vehicle within 10 minutes.

Both dealerships i had incredible experiences with if I ever do by additional Chrysler products or buy a new Jeep those two would be my top choices I was extremely impressed with the customer service

Where I am located Warner Robins had to drive five hours to deliver my first Jeep and friendship jeep had to drive three hours to deliver my second to Jeep
