Default Jku LED headlights

Hey there, I want to upgrade to LED headlights but I live in the Midwest and need something that can still melt snow if needed. Does anyone know if they make a set of LEDS that still produce enough heat to melt snow??

They have them with heating elements built into the lens now, cost more but the major brands have them.

Trucklights and JW speaker are the only ones in the market that have elements for melting ice. Both will cost you a pretty penny.

Is there a specific model I should be looking for that has enough heat to melt snow and ice? I'm just getting started doing my research

If what he says is factual, then your looking at the 2 models to research. Anything else is not intrinsically designed for shrugging off snow and ice. Anything else would not.

Yes. Look at the heated version of both brands.

Unless I'm mistaken, JW Speaker does not make a heated model. I know my evolution 2 model does not have a heating element, and I don't believe the new J series does either. I was thinking Trucklite was the only one that added a heating element to theirs.

Default led head lights

I have owned different pairs and they alone are not hot enough to melt snow.

We have heated LED lights on the HUMVEE's out here, and they look remarkably like the TruckLite Led's. They kind of have a maze like look to them that makes up the heating element. I've never had to use them, but I imagine if they are designed to heat the lenses that they have to at least work somewhat better than standard version.

Sorry I was Mistaken JW's do not have heating elements. Truck lights are the only ones that are heated. They might hold the Patent on it.
