Junk
[QUOTEdont =jamesinmx;3083595]Check out the forum ...Tacoma World. I had the same problems w/jeeps. Waiting to buy 2013 toyota tacoma 4x4 double cab, short bed...will be all new third generation. Members on T.W. have nothing but praise for the TACO! Can mod the the Taco just like the wrangler. Top stays on, but you can purchase a large electric sunroof, that does not leak. Build quality is the best, no D.W. on and on. Hate to say goodbye to the jk wrangler, love the way they look, but too many hassles, time, dollars, enough is enough. No, not a troll. The head problems on the new pentastar was the last straw.

that was directed at tacoma boy lol , dude without hearing it it could be anything from your ac compressor to piston slap. you did say it was worse under load and higher revs , if it were me i would wait till it was bone cold , remove the serpentine belt and see if it still did it only briefly though as you wont have coolant circulating if it doesnt its a belt driven part if it does you can look furthur , i have hears alternators , compressors idlers and water pumps all make the same type noise at varying speeds try that first and let us know ( oh ck your oil level )
you didnt say if you had tried premium gas but could also be bad predetonation , if you remove the belt and it still makes noise , put a bottle of lucas fuel treatment in the tank and fill up with 93 octane possible with that many miles you could have carbon built up excessivly . stay away from that seafoam shit dont let anybody talk you in to that
I bought a loaf of bread at the store today. Upon my return home, I noticed that the package wasnt tied as tight as I would like it to be. After opening this loaf of bread, I noticed that the bread was a tad bit harder than I like to eat it. It also was a brighter white in color than I like to eat as well. While putting the slice back in the bag, I noticed all the slices wasnt perfect in thickness with each other.
I immediately logged on to the bread lovers forums and bitched about this whole ordeal. I was ranting and raving on the forum about this damn loaf of bread, protesting that nobody buy white bread anymore because all white bread loafs are crap!
The point is this: Although your having problems with your Jeep, posting that all Jeeps are junk will not fix your problem.
Enjoy your rice burner!

Does it rattle worse if you hit a bump while turning? On mine the passenger side exhaust is loose at the flange the entire exhaust rattles when it happens. I am having a hard time getting it to seal and tighten properly at that flange. I saw another thread earlier with similar issues to this. Some of them loosened everything and then used a pry bar to get things to fit, then tightened back up. I'll be trying that soon.

All ways use 91 octane with superchips tune and use Lucas upper Cylinder lubricant. It's not belt driven I don't think but will check . I've looked for cracks in exhaust manifolds cleaned throttle body check the torque on intake Plenum . Checked PCV valve Checked all my heat shields . And it's when keep warmed up and under load starts rattling bad once I get around 3 grand .sounds like its coming from the cats . Like there is raw fuel dumping into them maybe . It's like a loose heatshield kind of sound . It might have been doing this for awhile just had doors and roof off and Heard it . And there is a little puff sound from motor when I shut it down to ? Thanks for any input .
