Default Just bought a JK!!!

WHOOOHOOOOO Just bought a Loaded Sahara 4 door unlimited! Love it! Man I was living in the way distant past in my 99 4runner. Anyway as we all know the bug bites and it bites hard...and already there are a few things I want to add or mod to my wrangler...nothing crazy yet (don't have the big cash yet)

My questions are:

I want to buy a lockable gas cap or cover for my jeep and I am not sure what vendor to use???...the dealer said Mopar (of course) but I was just wanting some opinions on this....

I would also possibly like to mount a hard top storage lift in my garage, the dealer spoke like you could just lower that baby on the hard top and taker off easily? Right now I have the soft top on as they had to order the hard top.

Any thoughts? all feedback is appreciated!

So what.

Just kidding! I am still trying to buy one, hopefully by the end of the week, I told my dealer to find it, tell me, get it. Probably going today for paperwork. I am in a 99 Grand Cherokee, that I use to love, until the reality of me getting a JK hit, not so much anymore. She is nice, but time to move on!

Autozone? Sweet. I am prolly gonna go there then.

So what do you guys think of the top hoist systems? Worth it? or should I just store the hard top on top of a mat in the garage? I haven't tried to lift the hard top (as it is on order). Is it really that heavy?

It is worth it for keeping it off the ground 2 save space and to take off if you are by yourself. It isn't heavy with 2 people just akward weight. Shouldn't be a problem with 2. Check the writeup section to find some homemade lifts should save you a decent amount of money.
