Still to this day Jeep can not find any info on my JK, they type in the VIN # and nothing comes up no info whats so ever. I just wrote to Chrysler again Lord only knows how many letters were written but we will see what happens this time. Built for Export but sold in USA.
I am starting to think that my JK really is the Ghost Ship Black Pearl.

Email customerassist@chrysler.com

At least back in 2010 they would provide full build information for any vin. Turnaround was about 48 hours.

I too had some trouble, but it turned out it was because I was mistaking some of the letters/numbers. An L looks like a 1, a B might look like an 8, O and 0, stuff like that.

Yeah, I have an '07 JKUS auto with dana 44 rear and 4.10 stock. But I'm running 37's and 4:10 around town is okay, but highway is super sluggish. I'm regearing to 5:13 soon. Plus my GPM is horrible now and it'll bring it back up significantly

Ok I'm showing my ignorance but that's what this forum is about- helping educate us all. I've read this thread and contacted Chrysler for my build sheet. I have an 07 JKU manual w/ 4.10s and a Dana 44 rear axel. I currently run 35s and its looking like by the end of this year will be needing new tires. Was seriously wanting 37s....with having the rear axel I do does this mean I shouldn't have any worries? I've heard I can't go bigger without problems and I've also heard I should be ok. Thanks yall

I know what you all are saying, I had retyped the VIN so many times had friends and family type and we can never find any info. Of course chrysler is of no help.

Hey go check out a thread that i started a couple days ago about 37's on 4.10 gears. I named the thread Bare minimum needed to run 37's. you dont NEED anything except a lift and to trim your pinch seams and flares if lift is not big enough. Everyone says its going to be slow with the 4.10's but liveable. Everyone also recomends axle sleeves and guesset welds to streghten the d30 up front.
