Default Just got 08 Rubicon

Well I just purchased my 08 Unlimited Rubicon, Black. Fully loaded, auto, preferred power group, dual tops, side air bags, dark tint windows, etc., everthing but the MY Gig, which I did not want. Got a great deal, $100 over invoice from NW Jeep in Beaverton Oregon. We have a home in Eugene but am temp. in So. Ca. until this fall. Flew up to Portland and they picked me up and everthing went as planned. I would highly recommend them. This is my fourth Wangler and sixth jeep overall. My last Wrangler was an 03. I can't believe the ride improvement with the longer wheel base. This thing is really night and day from my TJ. Only mods planned for now,(until after my daughters wedding in Sept.), is the cold air and exhaust which I tend to put on all of my jeeps.
Does anyone know of any good and fair 4WD shops or stores in the Eugene area?
Thanks!

Also picked ours up Yesterday! This is our first jeep and we love it! Took it off road on an intermediate trail, performance is awesome! Enjoy the ride and welcome.

Default any luck

Congrats on your Jeep. (a little late.)
I also got my JK from NW, and had really good service and a great deal.
I was wondering if you decided on what intake and exhaust you are going with.
I have heard that Mopar builds a cold air induction and some of the Chrysler "Skunkwerks" vehicles are running Banks exhaust with the cold air kit, suppose to be a nice combo.
I checked out Mopars site, but no luck finding either item.
Let me know what you go (or went with,) I'd like to know how you like it.
Thanks.

Default new 08 Rubi

Aaron, I got the Airaid CAI and the Banks Monster Catback Exhaust. I have used Banks before and have used both K&N CAI and now the Airaid. I have had them on for about 5 weeks and love them. The Banks has always been a great exhaust and nice sound, not overbearing but throaty when you step on it. So far, very happy.
