Default Just wondering!

Dose anyone know what the little plastic clip panel is for, on the console just to the right of the shifter on an automatic.

I believe you are talking about the shifter release. If for some reason you can't get the shift lever out of park (brake petal interlock not working) you insert a small screwdriver into the slot to get the Jeep out of park.

Thanks just curious. I wanted to put my passenger seat ejection button there maybe I'll put some where else

I thought this wasn't a big deal, but the other day we had to move a car at the office that had a problem with the alarm, and so we had to disassemble the shifter just to put it on neutral, this would have come in handy.
