Well, one of the things I was looking forward to in my new JK was the ability to plug my iPod into and cruise to my favorite tunes. Problem was, some of my mp3s sounded like pure crap! The bass was distorted and there was some kind of "noise" filtering through. I'm not much of an audiophile, and I couldn't figure it out. It was pissing me off. Then, I found that if I checked the "sound check" box in the ipod settings, it equalizes the volume of the outgoing songs and fixes the distortion glitch. Tunes sound just peachy now. Probably no one dealt with this besides me, but I am sharing what I learned nonetheless.
