Lemons???
Not sure of your contract, but mine has a clause in there about lemons
I got everything with my Jeep I mean they saw me coming. The deal is that if for some reason they can't fix it or have fixed it to much,I believe theres a limit.
That you get a new Jeep,I'm Canadian though, not sure of the rules down south.
Hope everything works out,I haven't heard of any one around here yet.

Soft Top Leaks
Has the steering "clunk"
Transmission Seal Leaked
Torque Converter Shudders, locks up at 1500 RPMs and loses power on the slightest incline.
Cruise control locks up at 1500 RPMs then as I start to lose speed it SHOOTS up to 4000RPM and I take off like a bat out of hell.

Well, mine as been in the service shop for a total of 56 days. I picked it up 9-14-07; it's an 08. Went to send the letter today, but realized that the adress is a PO box and you can't send a letter receipt request to a PO box.
Best bet is to get a lemon lawyer. You pay nothing if they lose and Shysler pays if they win. Love your signature by the way. Couldn't agree more.

In Germany they call such cars (newer cars that are always in the shop) Friday cars. The joke is that the guys working on the cars were lazy and weren't doing their jobs by the time each Friday came around.
I havent Lemoned mine yet but really am considering doing so..... it is currently in the shop with major issues....
1] had it in 3 or 4 times for cam sensor... and some kind of air intake sensor too...
2] A/C was broke once
3] 4 times for service engine light (large evap leak is the code but no evap leak found.. )... the yreplaced some modules and wiring stuff and a couple sensors, gascap a couple times
4] latest is overheating... the fan wont come on.. theyve replaced the fan, the 60 amp fuse blows and has been replaced 3 times, the fan resistor and relay, the underhood fuse / relay center has been replaced, now they are replacing another relay and the complete "main vehicle wiring harness" whatever that is... its on its 5th trip to the dealer now for this overheating thing....
5] whenever they work on the vehicle they have a very tough time getting all the modules on the CAN to communicate again.. theyve upgraded all the software too...
6] occasionally my clutch fails to engage when i let the pedal out but they never can find that one and it doesnt happen often so its a hard one to prove....
its been in for a couple other things that I cant remember..
oh yeah a couple of the retaining clips for the center dash panel were missing during its assembly.... asnd yeah it was shipped the friday before christmas 2007 so it probably had a case of its assemblers on vacation-itis...
I'll give chrysler the chance to replace with a vehicle of my choice before I lemon it.. and it must be worth more than mine is now to cover all my headaches, time, inconvenience etc.. and they must keep my loan and not make me start over (dont wanna lose interest paid) but id think it would cost them less to practically give me a new JK than it would for me to drill them to the end in court... and according to couple lemon lawyers ive got a pretty darn good case because the overheating can be considered an occupant safety hazard (risk of fire) by law.....
