Here is me in the last off road vehicle I drove before getting the Jeep:

That is me in good old Suffield Alberta. The only place in Canada where you will be looking at a cactus during a snow storm I am crew commanding the vehicle. I am also gunner and driver qualified on it. Best piece of kit I have ever had the pleasure of driving....and it is kicking ass in Afghanistan

And one of me recently in the Jeep:

I was in Afghanistan SE of Kandahar for most of 2006. I had the pleasure of "commanding" a small detachment of Canadian MPs and some Infantry guys training the Local National Police down around Shindad/ Wesh. Anyone who says you guys aren't contributing to the fight have been watching the wrong news stations. You guys were definately in the mix and I was proud/honored to serve with you all. Definitely a class act...I don't know about the PPL guys though. Just kidding.

Cool man, I/we appreciate hearing that from our brothers from the south.
I got out of the PPCLI in 2003 and went Electronics Tech....pay raise...and I dont need to be a security guard when I get out

...but you know what? I would be back there in a heartbeat if push came to shove...I miss the brotherhood....
