lights dimming?

Default lights dimming?

i came across today that when i hit the blinker to go right, the lights dim on the dash and radio...? im not sure what it could be...they are fine to the left. any idea>?


i also ordered a bully dog chip for the jeep, hope it will make a difference highway driving

Does it do it when you turn it on to go left?

It's either bad grounds, a weak alternator, or a weak battery.

i just bought a new battery...

its only when u flip the turn signal to the right

Sounds like a bad ground then. It's probably easier to disconnect the front right turn signal first. Disconnect it. Turn on the turn signal, it should blink fast now, and see if the dimming still happens. If it stops, check the connections and grounds for the front right signal lamp. If it doesn't stop, reconnect the front signal and disconnect the rear. If the dimming stops with the rear disconnected, again check the connections and grounding for it.

Did this ever get resolved. Sorry to revive an old thread but I'm having the same issue after installing a brand new battery.
