Default Line X the hardtop and grill?

My fellow JK'er and myself are thinking of getting some components Line X'd. Anyone out there done this? Any preference over Rhino guard? Line X seems a bit less textured and nicer looking to me. I'm thinking of getting my hard top and grill lined. Any pictures would be hugely appreciated!

I recommend it. Make sure you have them add the UV coating so it doesn't fade. I have had trucks with Rhino Lining and LineX is in my opinion a better product for body panels. It's little less rough and shinier. It looks more like a professional coating. Here are some pics, I had my grill and bumper inserts done:

Has anyone done it with the do-it-yourself kits? I helped a buddy Do the inside of his YJ and it looked okay, but I was wondering about doing my hardtop.

I did my hardtop myself. I just bought a sanding sponge, went over the entire hardtop so all shiny areas were sanded. Then just followed instructions. The kit came with two rollers, a couple brushes and I forget what else. One thing I bought extra was Herculiner UV coating. I went over the entire hardtop after it was coated two times. I live in the desert and the coating protects the herculiner from UV rays and fading, plus gave an extra layer of protection. I've been through some pretty good trails. I've got scratches on the doors but not the hardtop.

I did not take my hardtop off the Jeep, so if you choose to leave it on, mask EVERYTHING off because it does splatter. It was so easy, I can't imagine paying anyone to do it.

Do Line X. The texture looks much better. I think I was one of the first to do this to the grill a couple years ago. Ive had a lot of bumpers on other rigs done as well.

I had both bumpers done too.

Once you got back you couldnt even tell.

Winter set up.

Ok, I'm sold on the Line X. BTW...sick rig man. Question though, do you think just the Line-X on my grill will look OK with my black rig or should I get the Line-X painted over in the crystal clear coat?
