Default Little help guys

I have a new totally stock 2012 unlimited sport 17" wheels.
I'm wanting to put moto metal skull wheels on it, they are 17x9 with 4.53 backspace and -12 off set.
I'm thinking I would go with a 275/70R17 tire or maybe a 265/70R17. Will they work on the 9" wheel?
Have been told I could go with 285/70R17 but I'm concerned that it might have rubbing etc. I do most of my off road on the beach. Like 65% hwy and 35% beach rare mud.
Air down for the beach. So basically would I have trouble with rubbing with this wheel and a 285/70 or issues with this wheel and a smaller tire? Some times have like 4 adults on beach trips.

You should be fine with that size and back spacing.

I am running a 285/75r16 on a 16x8 with 4inch backspacing

I'm riding on stock wheels which are either 17x7.5 or 17x8 with 1.5" spacers with 285/70R17. I am more than sure this size tire will work for you.

285 will fit just fine with the wheels you have chosen to use. You'll have no rubbing on beach or road.
