After going to the dealership, after they closed so I wasnt bugged with salesmen... It was my first time actually looking at a Rubi up close... And I have to say, they sit a lot higher than they look in pictures on here... I actually thought "this thing really doesnt need a lift" as it looks pretty good stock... but will probably end up doing a 2.5" lift and 35's after stock tires are done.

That's exactly what I did. When I first got my Rubi I thought, wow this thing sits tall already, don't need a lift... A month later I put a TF 2.5 BB lift on it with 35s.... love it.....

I thought my stock Rubi was tall. Then I put 285s and a 3" TF lift and thought it was tall. Then I made friends with guys who have 37s and now I don't feel so tall. They have friends with 40s and 42s and they don't feel so tall. It appears never to end, this size thing.

 

Isnt that the truth,

Put put a 2.5 OME HD and 35s on my Rubi, then went to a Jeep club meeting only to park beside someone with a 4inch lift and 37s :(

Just like there will always be someone stronger, smarter, or better at something than you, there will always be a jeep that has bigger tires than yours LOL

 

Its called inchitis... and it's contagious, so beware.

 

Yeah, sometimes i think the salesman talk just to hear themselves talk. When i got my sport-s. Told them exactly what i wanted (my wife wont drive a stick) so i had to get a automatic. (wish she would get her own toy!!!) But they didnt have no Rubi's on the lot. and i wanted the Black Ops Edition but it sold 2 hours before i got there!! My daugther was mad at me!!

 

Just tell her to learn..... and Im with. Your daughter were both mad at you ....lol. have with your new sport
