Default M101 Trailer info needed

Hey Guy's

Looking into a M101 trailer, but don't care for the round fenders. Would I be able to put on a set of Jeep style fenders without much trouble ? I don't know if reg trailer (Jeep style) fenders are the same size as say a M416......

Are you talking about the Canadian M101 trailer or the US M101? The Canadian M101 doesn't have round fenders, they're 3-sided.

Then this must be a US M101 because it DOES have round fenders. Also, do you know if the US M101 and the US M416 is the same size trailer ?

I have been checking the internet and it's hard to find out this information.

I suggest you post pics. No, the US M101 trailers are 3/4 ton, and larger than the M416. The 101A1 was designed to be pulled behind the Humve, where as the 416 was designed for the Jeep. The Canadian M101 (usually written M101CAD) is the same basic size as the US M416.

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...hlight=trailer is an example of a M101A1 with a topper.

Yep, nice looking trailer. Yes, you can yank those fenders off and replace them if you want without too much trouble at all. Another common mod to allow for larger tires is to do a Spring Over Axle. It's really easy, just disconnecting the axle from the spring perches, flipping it around and re-attaching it under the perches, then extending the emergency brake cable attachment if necessary.
These are really fun to mod to fit your needs perfectly, and they're great for towing behind for JK. Congrats, enjoy!
