i've got a rugged ridge XHD front on my JK & stock bumper on rear. i'm really interested in getting the new Or-Fab rear, but worried that my JKU will looks like i furnished it at a yard sale. ((is the black the same? what about the angles other subtle things??)

should i just go with the XHD rear?

do alot of people mix and match parts?

Nah...you'll be fine with different branded bumpers. I say get what you want!


And...if all else fails, you can spray them both with Rustoleum bedliner! Then they'll definitely match!

 

I have never had the same manufacturer for both bumpers on either of my JK's. I run a Benchmark Elite front bumper and a OrFab rear on my 2011, and it looks great. However, I do have them both line-x coated prior to install, so the color matches. I don't think you would notice that much if you left them powder coated. I line-X for protection.

 

The only difference may be paint or texture, as long as the color and texture matched i dont think it would matter. The XHD is a nice bumper and if you dont like the wraparound it can be trimmed.
