Default Max MPG attempt

So we're headed out on the open road tomorrow for a 650km trip. The terrain is good, all paved and fairly flat. I will fill up with 94 octane at the station right off the freeway and then hit the road keeping a steady 65mph. The winds are supposed to be calm and roads dry. I have the 6 speed with 3.21's with no mods and i will have a full load (two adults, two kids under five and luggage for four days). I will stop only once throughout at a freeway truck stop.

Who thinks I'll make it on a tank of fuel???

Im optimistic so I'll bring a small jerry just incase!

Do you have the 18.5 gallon tank 2-door or the 22.5 gallon 4-door?
3.8 or 3.6?
Sahara, X, Rubicon?

4-door will be your only hope.

2 door;
3.6; and
Sahara.

I've gotten 602km out of a tank before running already with a small amount of that being stop and go. I think it may be doable....

You'll make it. I've gotten 550+ miles on a tank going from TX to TN in my '08 Sahara, 6 speed, 3.21 gears. I averaged 29mpg following Semi trucks the entire way. Way back, no semi trucks, I was at 25mpg. It was just my and my 'ol lady with 2 duffle bags for 1-2 week travel period.

I never went over 65mpg. I kept Cruise on 64-65, except when I was in the tail winds of a Semi.

I'm a broke ass college student, so I was trying to milk every ounce of gas I could to see my mom for the first time in 12 years.

EDIT: 650Km is only 403 miles.

I don't think your going to have a problem. I have a 2012 JKUR with 4.10 and on a road trip yesterday 376 miles on one tank at 75 mph. Pull on to station and put 21.6 gallon. That come out to 17.4 gpm.

With your 3.21 gears you probably going do a lot better.
