Default minivan to Jeep

The comptroller of the company I work for just traded his minivan in on a 2011 Unlimited.

Sounds great I suppose on the surface but today he said he can't take it to work yet because of the dirt road - he can't take it to work until he gets the "lifetime wax" on it. Then he spoke at length about the features it has.

I told him that with great power comes great responsibility - I told him he has to wave at other Jeep owners... it's just the way it is.

I'm thinking of telling him that he has to return the Jeep and get another minivan.

Wow! Poor guy, some finance manager just took him for a ride. That lifetime wax probably added $1000 to the price.

Dealers that pull that crap should be publicly humiliated in some way. It's borderline robbery, in my opinion.

I use to sell cars and when it came time to sell the ad ons, I pulled out the pamphlet so everyone could see me but not hear me. I then said and here is some items that we sell that really dont do anything but add dollars to your payment, do you want them?

When I bought the last Jeep the lady was going on about paint protection and undercoating and how it lasts 10 years, I said I will own it about 4 years she said but it will add tons of value when you selll it, lol.

I remember once someone bought the undercoating (not from me) and they never even put it on. The markup on that stuff is sooooo redic.
