Default Mirror Relocation

Sorry if this has already been addressed. I was thinking I buying a mirror relocation kit and removing the factory mirrors from the doors. My question is does anyone know if it would be ok to leave the wiring to the mirrors disconnected and hanging inside the door? The new mirrors will bolt to the body and will be manual mirrors. I just don't know if it will be an issue in side of the door. Any thoughts?

There is no connection for the mirrors within the doors. The wiring runs from the mirror all the way through and out the door panels before going into the plug under the dash.

Actually on my 2012 JKU there is a connection inside the door. Once you remove the door panel there is a connection below the door handle. If you disconnect that and remove the oval rubber plug the wire will pull out when the mirror is removed from the door. The other connector is for the power windows which still function normally after the mirror disconnect.
This is good new because now I can relocate my mirrors to the windshield frame. Now I can run in my surrounding states (GA & NC) legally with no doors.
