idk how it is in your state, but i think it's illegal to operate a motor vehicle without side adjusting mirror in NYS...

with that being said, i opted for the Dietech Offroad mirror relocation brackets.

After doing a lot of research when I got my JK in 08, everyone said that they were the best, and kept the exact location of the mirrors without adjusting it.

The only minor complaint i have about them is that the mirrors tend to vibrate a lil. Other than that, they're FANTABULOUS!

Actually this is most irritating things I ever had to face, I don't like this at all. Actually you can easily fix this with your jeep and just need some skill to arrange this.

Was actually wondering about this the other day when I saw a topless and doorless TJ pass me. I know in Ohio you have to have 2 backward facing mirrors to be legal, one can be the rear view mirror on the windshield, so just need one on the side to make it legal. Lots of good ideas here. Will have to think about which one to go with.

I got a pair of these on sale for $2.99 a pop. They bolt right into the door hinge. Supercycle Bike Rear-View Mirror | Canadian Tire

A little curved at the edges but they keep it legal.

I have the same ones, the problem with theses is that you cant use the passenger mirror...it doesnt move in far enough to make it useable.

fyi, the thread on those is exactly the same as teh windshield aframe bolts...i just screwed mine right into the existing hole.

I bought me an extra set of oem mirrors & these brackets. I bought these 4 years ago & can't remember who makes them. It will fit flush. Mine doesn't since I have the light bar bracket. Hand tighten then use a wrench for a little more torque & they are solid & will not move.
