The Weather Channel announced this morning that there was flash flooding in Moab today and that some Jeeps were washed away. I can't seem to find any information about it. Has anyone heard anything? I hope if it is true that none of us was involved and that everyone involved was ok.

The good news is that no one was hurt in the flash flood. Being from the southwest flash floods are always something to worry about so you need to know what the weather is for a 20 mile radius from your location and if there is water running in a normally dry wash be extremely wherry of crossing.

I remember wheeling the Kane Creek Trail and getting very nervous about the clouds overhead as the entire canyon is a big flash flood area and there's one way in and one way out
