moab with long arm ?

Default moab with long arm ?
i've always wondered if you absolutely need long arms to clear medium to hard trails in moab or you can clear it easily with lets say a teraflex 3 in coil lift only ?

Hundreds or more people go to Moab every year without a long arm lift.
