Default Mopar Factory Side Steps

Hey,
Would any of you take off the side steps if they came with your rig? My dealership threw them in and installed them for free. I just think it will make my jeep look a little more agressive if anything? Thoughts?

I took them off my Sahara for the same reason.

That's why I asked for the tube steps instead. Those sahara steps are really tacky. I would rip those things off as well

Left my Sahara Steps on for one main reason.... is it allows easier access for my kids and wife to hop into our Lifted JKU. Also, they have provided some protection against spitting rocks from my tires and helped prevent people slamming their vehicle doors into the side of my jeep in parking lots. I do have plans on getting rock sliders with steps on them...just need to save some $$$.

I took my MOPAR Tubular Side Steps off because they lost the battle against the rocks.

Like almost everything else I am going with the "use it until break it" philosophy, one which has been broken in the past when the opportunity presents itself, like say a barely used front bumper for less than half retail.

Just try harder to damage them then there wold remain no other solution than to replace them.

Cheers.

I didn't mind the ones on my sahara. But once the plastic started to fade, I was fighting a losing battle. So rock sliders went on.

I took my Sahara steps off recently and and replaced with rubi rails. Going to get ACE sliders soon, which will offer more protection and a side step.
