Sounds like Toyo M/T is the top contender here... The Pitbull Rocker Radial is what I was looking at because they're also 10-ply and look tough as hell... This is a difficult choice.

In general I would think that the heavier a tire is, the more rubber and steel cords it has, and the tougher it is going ot be. No surprise that Toyo MT tires are one of the heavier tires made, and also one of the toughest tires made. I think you have to add Pro Comp Extreme MT tires to the list of tough tires though. They are just as big and heavy as Toyo MTs. I think a 37" Toyo MT weighs 85 lbs, and a 37" Pro Comp Extreme MT weighs 87 lbs. I've used Toyo MTs for years and never had a tire failure with a Toyo MT tire. I've used Pro Comp Extreme MTs for the last 6000 miles, and it looks like they're going to be the same.

I've never had a flat with Toyo MT, or Wrangler Duratracs.

X50....the Toyo's kick butt.......I have no issues with them on the rocks, but thats opinion....commonly air down to 6-10lbs on the trails.....
