Hey guys just looking for some advise. I just got orders from Maine to be south padre island Texas. I've never lived down south and my jeep hasn't been south of NY. What are somethings I should do in prep of the trip down there and being in a warmer environment. I know there's trick for the north so what are they for down there. I have an 09 jku with about 85000 miles. Coolant change? Maybe oil viscosity? Batteries hoses or anything.

Make sure you have good functioning air conditioning. And if it were me I'd do a carpet delete because there is sand literally everywhere at South Padre.

Other than that, rejoice that you are being welcomed to the greatest state in America.
