Turn off your esp, else the jeep will kill your power when you start spinning.

One of the guys I wheel with killed his radiator fan while mudding. That crap gets into the motor and stalls it if you're not careful. Always, ALWAYS wash out your engine bay after mudding. Pay special attention to the radiator fan. Aim your power washer directly at it and hose for at least 1-2 solid minutes.

Run in 4 low. It'll do it for you. Or hit the button on the center stack that has a little swerving car symbol on it.

Do NOT push in the clutch. Pick a gear and stick with it. If you have to reverse, turn off key, put in R, turn back on.

If you have a manual.

Also, it is very important to clean out underneath. Not cleaning mud out can do alot of damage.

Unlike all other off-road activities, when mudding, its better to go too fast than to go too slow.

The two important things about mudding is SPEED and MUDGRIP tires. If you have street tires, or even all terrains, you will only be able to go as far as momentum will take you. The minute that the mud gives you some resistance, slick tires will only spin and cake up.

Always make sure your wheel is pointing in the direction you want it too - sometimes in mud your vehicle is not moving the direction your front tires are facing, and as soon as they catch traction you will jump forward. You don't want your wheel to wonder away and end up getting pulled into a tree, rock, other vehicle, or a person.

Don't go alone, bring a shovel, and don't make bets with people that know the mud better than you

So I found done mudd after I went to Lowes and thought to myself eh why not!? It was like next to an intersection and in the middle of a shopping center. It is extra parking.

So quickly I went in and did doughnuts!! Using ya'lls tips. Turning off ESC is a good tip too...Wow it was so exhilarating!!!!!!! I was trembling afterwards and used the adrenaline high for my workout. The only thing is I didn't get much mud on my Jeep :-/

Quick question do I use 4H or 4L?

If you drive a manual, make sure and put it in 4 lo. Auto doesn't really matter.

Hey, is there anything you guys use besides just water to clean out the engine bay?
