Default A must read before you buy

I thought I lucked out when I found a certified pre-owned 08 rubi two weeks ago with 30,000 miles. There was no rubi's on the lot except MWIII's. And figured I'd spend all that extra money towards mods so I bought it. Big mistake looks like my first big mod will be a hemi swap.Since they said its my fault for going through a small amount of sand and mud. I took the jeep to a friends shop to find out that this rubi has a jasper motor in it so that's two motors that has blown up in this jeep with 31,000 and they haven't covers either one. On top of how is a factory certified pre-owned sold with a non factory motor, there was four recalls on this jeep and not one was recorded as being done.

F@#k them i would get a lawyer. They cannot deem it certified preowned jeep and it does not have a factory motor, and they themselves did not follow up on any of the recalls, that my friend is bullshit.

I 100% agree, lawyer up and have him handle it. That's the kind of shit that gives dealers a bad name and they should be punished hard.

If I don't hear something good Monday from corporate then I'm lawyering up. They also fixed the rear on the 06 ram srt10 I traded in on my service contract after I traded it in so corporate is not happy with them to begin with. And they took my free rental away and stuck me down a vehicle.

Thank God my buddy found out that the Jasper motor still had a warranty and they honored it unlike Chrysler new motor coming Thursday on them and after they check out the motor depending what they find they will send me a check for the labor. After talking to Jeff from Jeff's jeeps in Tampa he said they are notorious for having a bad oil pressure switch witch got switch over from the first to the second motor. And this is why it would blow up with a thousand or so miles on it. After I get the motor replaced if they don't give me a great deal on a 12 rubi I will never buy a Chrysler product again. And this is my third in the past 10 years. We will see after having a writer from the paper call the dealership they are changing their tune some
