Picked up my new 2011 JK Rubicon and when I got home, I notice there was a dealer advertisement tag on the front bumper. The plastic Jeep bumper comes with four small dimples in the front bumper, I guess to show you where to drill, if you want to add a front plate.
My state does not require a front plate and I don't normally put any kind of plate on the front of my vehicles. After removing the plate the dealer installed, there are two holes in my bumper. Maybe it's not a big deal, but I don't appreciate them drilling permanent holes in my bumper without my permission.
Did this happen to anyone else and is there anything I can do to cover up the holes?

Just be glad it was only your bumper.
I've seen dealerships that drilled holes in body panels to mount dealership emblems. Hell, one of the first things I had to do with mine was pry off a plastic emblem the dealer had double-sticky-taped to the tailgate. I guess it's some eastern thing... never saw it until I left California.

id make them buy you a new bumper.. forget the plugs.. take it all the way to the top at the dealership... i can understand it in a state where front plates are required because it will eventually be drilled anyway.. but in a non front plate state.. no way.. my jeep would be right back at their door step
