Mine arrived today, and I'm having a hell of a time assembling and installing this thing... Talk about a pain in the ass.

And now, it doesn't seem to fit...

All put together, it seems to be about an inch to an inch and a half too long. As far as I can tell, it's assembled correctly--though the instructions leave quite a bit to the imagination.

Default Wind noise

Please send me a note on the wind noise of your roof rack. I have the wilderness from garvin and you can forget about listening to a radio, or having a conversation. I need earplugs to hear myself. Any feed back would be nice because I have to do something.

to kill the whisle sound why don't you get some silicon and squirt it into the spacing between the metal. that's where the whistle coming from! plus it'll prevent the metal from wearing off the paint in the closer areas. just a thought. when in doubt........what would McGyver do?
