09 Unlimited, stock, 8,000 miles, 3.73 gears, hard top, Mobile 1 full synthetic oil. 13.9 (by computer and hand calculations) city driving only. Can get around 15mpg mix of city and interstate to the suburbs. Haven't been on a road trip lately, but from what I remember it was around 19 mpg. Summer/Winter, not much has changed for me.

Not that I was expecting great mileage, but I was expecting better than that. Not going to complain due to the perma smile I have every time I see it or drive it. Love the Jeep, wouldn't trade it for anything.

Well, truth be told it's EPA rated at 15 city, 19 highway, so it seems you're really about dead on.

And according to the window sticker, the 15 city works out to "between 12 and 18 mpg" and the 19 highway works out to "between 16 and 22 mpg".

14 MPG? Wow! I got 17 MPG when I was stock and now I'm getting 15 MPG with 35's, 4:10, Auto Tranny.

If it is brand new, it should get a LITTLE better once it breaks in. Mine has gotten gradually better and I only have about 8,500 miles on it. I consistently, average about 16.5 in town; with a best of 21 on the highway. My Jeep is an 09 Unlimited with 3.73's and 32" tires.

13.9 today...only a couple of trips on the interstate, mostly stop/go city driving. That is babying it as well. I think even when I get on it...as much as you can get on these V6's, I still get the same..

It could change if it's a 2 slice or 4 slice toaster too!
