Sticker says the windows on the hard top are tinted, they dont look tinted to me. Called the dealer and they said they are tinted, just not enough to see. They said that if the option said dark tinted windows it would be a noticable tint. Is the dealer trying to BS me?

The hard tops i have seen have the same amount of variation as far as i know. Check the Pics site, i am sure there are some there.

I dont think he is, which may be a first *L* but his info sounds right.

 

Dark tinted windows are an optional. It should say on the sticker that "Deep Tint Sunscreen Window $300"... if it says so on your sticker, then the windows should be dark (31%?). If it says just "tint (windows)" without "deep" and "$300", the windows are clear (even though they are tinted slightly... looks clear).

 

I guess its time to call a professional tinter.

 

There are two tints on the hardtop. A dark like mine and a light. If you can see through it easily it is a light tint. Of course in pictures it depends on what is behind it and how much light is coming from the back side.
