I called today to check on the status of my order and the D-C rep told me that the only constraint on my 4dr Rubi (Rescue Green, Rubicon, half doors, 6-spd, MyGig, soft top ... pretty much the full recipe for a long wait) is the MyGig.

I'm in BG status since early March (after waiting for about a month for the part code for half-doors to become available -- per my dealer). My wait hasn't been anything nearly as long as some here (I feel for you guys), but I really would like to have my JK for the summer.

I saw on some other threads that units with MyGig are flowing. I hate to cancel the MyGig if it's not going to speed up my order significantly. I'm not confident I'm getting the real scoop.

Any thoughts or info?

 

I canceled the Mygig on mine based on the same information you got. 2 months later, I was still in BG, so I canceled the order. Found one on a lot without Mygig, and bought it. I don't think anything you change will speed it up unless you cancel the Rubicon...It seems that only the Rubicons are being held up indefinitely. Might be the axles or transfer case, but they won't admit it.

 

Someone else posted the other day they are done with the MyGig for now...so a good chance your SOL on it..I cancelled mine for the same reason and nearly instantly mine started moving along. Really sucks, but oh well.

If you want yours by summer, I'd say drop the mygig.

 

For what it's worth, I took delivery of mine with MyGig Friday and only waited 5 weeks for the factory order. Ordered March 12th.
