Thanks for all the responses. In RI, I haven't seen a better deal for the options I'm looking for. I'm going to call the dealer today, and see if they are ready to lower that price. It's been sitting there since feb. I want a new Jeep but i don't want to spend anymore then i can afford. If they won't budge, then I'll consider new...Heck my 08 brand new loaded sahara cost me 24k back then..i can't believe how much $$ they are now.

I am willing to bet that they are including any rebates in their areas.
For the OP, I would buy new or not at all. If they are asking that much for a loaner that is ridiculous. Who knows how well the borrowers treated it, and the warranty is only going to last for 3 months. I would buy a new sport and get a lifetime warranty; it would be a much better investment IMHO.

Here in New England (I'm in Southeast Mass), Jeep prices are quite high. I bought my '07 Sahara back in '08, for $17,900. I thought that was pretty good.
I'm out on AutoTrader every other day looking at what's out there for 2012 JK's In Mass, CT, and RI. There is NO touching the old 1st generation used-JK prices these days. You'd be hard pressed to find a used Sahara for under 26K - and Rubicons for under 28 -- and I'm being generous.
Onto your Jeep.. That price does sound good. I'm in the same boat - considering a 2012, but afraid of engine trouble. With my 07, no warranties continued with the JK because I bought it used (and not certified). I would assume the same goes for the 2012's.
Edit: Sorry, just saw that it was sold..
