Default Need advice- damaged sliders

So I finally received my MBRP sliders, and when I opened them up, found several places where the powdercoat was flaking off or missing. I know that they are designed to be scraped up by rocks, and people will just say to paint them. But when paying for an item, shouldn't they come in perfect condition? I contacted MBRP, and hopefully will get a reply soon. I just wanted to get some more advice from forum members. Thanks

Time zones cause a problem for calling. I've emailed them. My biggest fear is that that they will want me to pay shipping, they are quite heavy.

That's rough I see your frustration, especially after spending around six hundred bones. Shipping back to MBRP will definitely be a good amount of cash

If you can, get a price from a local shop to re-powder coat the damaged parts. They should jump at that versus shipping both ways and doing the work.

Does the damage look like it is from shipping or a defect in the powder coat?
