Default need help!

hello all!
to make a story short i came with an argument betwen my stealership and i about this:
they say they have replaced my transmission 6 mounth ago and me i said they have only replaced some gears inside. i have lost my bills showing the truth so i know on the transmission it have a number on it that can tell its the original tranny!

i want to know where on the tranny this code is to prove my point to the stealership.

thanks!

Haven't dealt with my dealership, nor anything with chrysler. Try checking the VIN number?

There should be records in their computers. Try calling the dealer or chrysler and see if you can get some paperwork on them.

Every thing is saved in the computer.... A dealership on the east coast can see what your jeeps been through service wise on the west coast.... You just have to run the vin. It will also tell you what recalls you have had done and etc.

Question is will the dealership be honest about what they did?

can't really help you, but because you live in Gatineau let me take a wild guest about the stealership: could it be Kolbec ?? they have a weird tendency of loosing documents and lying....

no southbanks!
and the records they have its only a line telling they have charged a parts number thats corespond to a tranny ( thats is on the phone they telling me that )... and me i clearly remember signed a workorder with multyple parts number that corespond to some inside gears!

and to make it clear i work for as mecanic at another dealer so i know every thing about the records they hold in their filling!

so if they have keep the bills ive signed 6 mounth ago they will see they have not replace the tranny . and all i know is the tranny as some code engraved on the casing and thats is what i want to win my points.

I went on jeep.com and entered my Vin and got dealer service records of even previous owner of mine. You might want to give it a try.
