Default Need Help!!!!!

So on August 1st I'm getting a 2012 jku, but I need to decide what model to get. I plan on lifting with 35s so i understand that if I get the Sport model I'll have to regear. So is it worth it to get the Rubicon with 4.10 gears so i dont have to spend an extra $1500 on regearing plus another 1500+ on lockers, sway bar discos, etc. Please help!!!

Dont forget you're getting a Dana 44 up front instead of the D30. That alone is a couple grand.

True, I wasn't to worried about that because I won't be doing too major of wheeling. Just around the Ocala area (Hills, mud, and some rocks).

I would and did go with the rubi. Mine is a 2door tho. This time I also went auto. Love it. No regrets. I've had many jeep models thru the years. This one is my favorite by far.

Good luck!

That's what I'm thinking. I'm a big fan of the Freedom edition but it's pretty much just a better looking Sport model. The price of the Rubicons are just so high.

Go with the Rubicon and you won't regret it.

X2. The Rubicon is worth every dime it costs, while the freedom edition is barely more than a sahara with a couple color accents here and there. Jeeps are all about function! Plus, you could always get the extras done to a freedom at a later date without breaking the bank. The same, can not be said with upgrading a Sahara or sport to rubicon status.

Also when I do upgrade to 35s will I have to go up in gear ratio? I do mostly city driving, around 50-60 mph usually.
