Need help about selling the jk
I just recently sold my jk on Saturday now I still have a lien on it I met the guy who bought it at the bank and he paid the lien off in cash, I signed over the title. He is a ct resident is there anyway he can register the car in ct, without having the lien release and when I receive it from the DMV in 3-5 business days next day air it to him he has receipt that the car has been paid off in full and the title. Now I know in ny you can register a car with a lien on it because the lien follows the car not the owner can he do this in ct? Because he is threating to sue me since he has to wait a week to register it? Now I signed all of his papers and sign the title over to him please any help and guidance would be awesome
Tell him to settle the fuck down. He owns the title, and has paid off the lien. Since he paid the lien off can he not go get his own proof?
I mean, he knows its paid, he has the title, why is he upset?
Maybe I'm just too laid back of a guy.

He has the title and receipt that says paid in full. I can't control the DMV he should have done his research it is not like he dosent have the title nor a reciept it was paid off. My question is though on CT can you register a car with a lien on it because in NY they transfer the lien to the title it follows the car
He can't register the car until the lean release comes to me which is 3-5 business days
