Default Need HELP choosing JK

I am an old school Jeep guy that has an 86 CJ7 on 35's in my Garage almost completely restored. The problem is that it sits more then I get to drive it now due to Quad racing and also an 8 month old little girl and home projects. I am going to sell it and my Dodge Ram and replace it with a new DD 4 Door JK Sahara and do some mods, small lift, 33s shortly down the road. Here is what I need help choosing...

2008 Red Rock Sahara 4 door with all the stuff I want on it, 6sp, 3.73 Rear.....$27900 New Warrenty

OR

2007 Red Rock Sahara 4 Door with 4.11 rear , Automatic ( Not Sure about) 13K miles...Around $23000. No Warrenty

I am putting my truck down 10K, so will have a good payment, but not sure if its worth the differnce in prices..

I can't find the Redrock Sahara anywhere USED in a 6spd either??

This Jeep will be a DD and pul a light atv trailer and some minor Off Roading

Please HELP

I'd go with the new one....if for nothing else, the lifetime powertrain warranty. also, it would be NEW and have what you want on it.

Welcome to the forum! I would go new based on what it has is in line with what you want, plus the warranty.

I do love Red Rock, it was my original color choice but after seeing some Jeeps in Jeep green I just knew I had to go for the green. Either way you can't go wrong with a JK - I love mine!

Good luck,
Eric

New. They are making deals right now.

Is the $27900 MSRP? and without the $1000 dealer cash back?

I love the Red Rock it is a good choice.

Welcome to the forum. I don't think you can go wrong with either one, if the used was a bit less it would be great. New is always nice, but then you are the guy that take the new car hit. I've had both the 6 spd and now the auto (lemoned the first one). I liked the manual, a bit zippier driving around, but I like the auto for drinking coffee and talking on the cell while I'm yelling at my kids. 4 wheeling wise I think I'm liking the auto better, but I've always had manuals before and liked them. Just get one of them, and start dumping money into them instead of the quad.

Thanks guys...I am still up in the air I hate even seeing my truck go because ihave loved it so much and am not going to be able to tow 2 quads and gear hours away to the races with the JK. The other hard part is going to be getting rid of the CJ7 that I have had for so long , but I need something more practical that still turns heads....Getting a used auto is hard for me, just don't know if I would like it. The $27800 Price is $100 over invoice New....The $22,500 is fo the same thing but 07, used with 13K miles on it in an Auto

Payment differnce is $340 New or $265 Used for me....
