Need help diagnosing a rattle!
Somewhat high pitched, occurs when moving at low speeds, maybe over 5mph to 30 or so. Above 30 it may occur but be drowned out by the mudgrapplers. Seems to happen more when under acceleration.
My jeep is lifted with 35 inch mud grapplers. 3 years since lift and this is new. Mud grapplers have 48000 miles but still have 1/4" tread. 07 two door with 86000 miles
Ball joints are original, but seem to pass the jack, grab the tire, and wiggle test. The front Drive shaft is also stock, but the boot is fine and haven't had any fluid drain. The rattle doesn't seem to correspond to wheel speed.
All the links feel tight when I grab them and shake, and I can't replicate the sound while stopped.
Could it be a front axle u-joint? Doesn't seem to matter if its straight or turning, and they both look normal.

Definitely a rattle, not a break squeal. Plus it happens on acceleration, not on braking. Today it isn't doing it. Figures.
I'll check the exhaust pipe. mine has been altered because of the RK longarm, so that definitely might be it. Thanks!

look at the belt for shiny spots - if it's slipping it'll have a high pitch sound.
you might also have someone rev the Jeep while you watch the belt and pulleys, see if any are slipping or hanging up.
