Default need help ordering

Hi e1...first time here...i'm ordering a '08 wrangler X 2 door black with only options A/C and auto trans....unless i get some strong advise here to do something different. i do have a question or two.... can i have the plastic windows tinted like you can with glass windows ? . The dealer i spoke to about ordering said i would need a $1,000 deposit sound right? he told me should be in the middle or late feb....
anyway i'm looking for advise and opinions thanks tom

I didn't have to leave any deposit when I ordered mine. You can get the windows dark tint from the factory but I wouldn't add it aftermarket.

Do you plan any off roading?

Leaving a deposit didn't sound right to me thats why i asked....I'll talk to him tomorrow....thanks for the info

i worked in the car buisness for a few years and you do not have to leave a desposit. For you what you need to order depends on your seasonal weather and if you plan to offroad, lift and or add tires.

I had to leave a $500 deposit when ordering mine. I got my smoothly and everything. I dunno why the deposit but it is a reputable dealership so I didn't think much of it.

Most dealships want t deposit becuase it shows them that you are serious about buying. They do like them but not a must
