Default Need Input!

Ok, I can't stand it any longer! I have to hit the trails. Thinking of grabbing the family and heading up to the ORV Park (www.orvpark.com) in Hot Springs AR. I am running 32" with no lift. The trail guide says that I should be able to handle up to a three diamond. No problem, I need to get used to the longer wheelbase and want to see how she handles before I do any major mods.

BUT!!!!!!! HERE IS MY REAL PROBLEM. This weekend is my 11th anniversary. First is there anything special about #11? I have already done 10, so I should be realeased on good behavior, right?

Do you think my wife would object to spending quality family time with me and the kids? Two boys 3 and 7.

HOW CAN I PULL THIS ONE OFF?

Hahaha, good luck on this one. I guess all you can do is test the waters and see how she seems to be feeling about it. Maybe she isn't really expecting anything special and she'll be fine with the family trip. Just toss a casual comment and see if she's already got ideas and plans.

A couple of years ago we were in So. California during ours and my wife asked if I wanted to go to dinner, or go deep sea fishing for the anniversary.

We caught some really nice sea bass that day.

Good luck, hope it works out.

Buy flowers, plan a picnic, you do the work(kentucky fried chicken is your friend)
reminder her that the kids are a product of your love shared together and the celebration of your union wouldn't be complete if all family members weren't involved(you, your wife, kids, JEEP) If all else fails beg

Then all the ideas go to waste and if you try any of them she'll smack you

If you want to pull this off and really go have fun in your JK without any anniversary repercussion then you need to "Wine and Dine "her, as best you can on the trails anyway

Tell her you thought it would be a great chance to get away from all the distractions at home and spend a great day out just the two of you and the kids. Tell her you are planning a great romantic picnic with all the fixins. Throw in an extra bottle of spirits and you should be a smash hit. Hope you have fun
